I'm an entrepreneur, high tech marketer, salesman, product guy, and a bit of a dreamer. There's nothing more exciting, in my eyes, then taking an idea and making it a reality.
I cut my startup teeth at Coaxsys, an Ethernet over Coax hardware manufacturer, and FUZE Media Systems, a wintel whole-home media server company, where I wore a plethora of hats ranging from marketing, business development, customer development, and sales, before throwing my own hat into the ring and founding betwyx, a dynamically updating social address book.
At betwyx I designed a consumer internet product (both web and mobile), data driven advertising business model, and user acquisition strategy from the ground up. Within one short year betwyx went from a bedroom obsession to a Catalyst:SF incubated company with strong advertising industry ties. Additionally, I'm a frequent panelist at OMMA Global where you can hear my rants on the future of behavioral targeting and social media.
I love formulating startup strategies ranging from product marketing, user acquisition, marketing initiatives, to helping develop technical architectures and product functionality. I'm a big advocate of the Lean Startup; Steve Blank is brilliant and pivoting is no longer just a basketball move.
Professional interests aside, I'm a fan of golfing, hiking, yoga, exploring San Francisco and the greater Bay Area, and spending time with my awesome friends and family. I've also been bitten by the theoretical physics bug; fascinating stuff!
