Mary Zerafa is the Vice President of Strategy and Integrated Marketing for impreMedia, the the No. 1 Hispanic News and Information Company in the U.S. in Online and Print. In this role, Zerafa is responsible for developing corporate strategies that drive audience growth across all of platforms, aligning impreMedia’s product portfolio so that it exceeds audience and client expectations, and providing marketing services that drive revenue including market research and creative solutions for clients. In this capacity, Mary is responsible for overall brand management and public relations. Zerafa has held various leadership positions at impreMedia, most recently as VP of Strategy and Planning for impreMedia Digital. She now takes on the responsibility of developing strategy across all platforms.
In 2000, La Opinión tapped Zerafa to start up a new division, La Opinión Digital, and launch laopinion.com. Within a short time she led it to its position as a top Spanish language news and information site for US Latinos. In 2002, Yahoo! en Español named La Opinión Digital the best news and information site. It also received the international award ‘Arroba de oro’ (Golden @) for the best newspaper website.
In 2002, Zerafa was profiled by Presstime's annual “20 under 40” which recognizes up-and-coming newspaper professionals. She was a founding member of the comScore’s Hispanic Panel and the Interactive Advertising Bureau’s Hispanic Committee.
Zerafa is a Henry Crown fellow at the Aspen Institute. She is fluent in Spanish and has resided in Spain and Argentina. Zerafa's degrees include an MBA from Pepperdine University and a BA in International Relations from Michigan State University
