Leo Scullin is a Partner at Arkose Consulting LLC of New York, a firm that offers strategic, tactical and management guidance to clients seeking to leverage their interactive marketing investments and initiatives. Leo’s recent focus has been on mobile marketing, CRM and loyalty with client Gold Mobile, and digital media measurement, via work with ImServices and ASOC8.
Leo is a co-founder and director of ASOC8, Inc. whose technology provides clients and their media and agency partners with unique post buy validation of digital ad delivery.
Prior to ASOC8, Leo led the Industry Services team at the IAB in NYC, the trade group that represents the sellers of the $21+ Billion interactive advertising industry and whose members include Google, Yahoo!, Microsoft, AOL, IAC and Weather.com.
Leo first joined Arkose in May 2002, when the focus was on product development, specifically in the area of personalized local search. Prior to that, Leo was a Partner at marchFIRST/via USWeb in NYC. Leo led the Client Services team and oversaw e-business transformations of Audi of America and Neuberger Berman, as well as managing engagements with Harley-Davidson and others.
Before USWeb he was the VP, Interactive Marketing at AOL where he was liaison to the ad agency community and authored AOL’s first advertising business plan. From 1991 to 1997, Leo was head of the media consulting firm, Scullin & Company. After spending 17 years in the Media department at Young & Rubicam in NYC, he co-founded and was Publisher and Music Editor of Men's Life magazine, a publication of (Rupert) Murdoch Magazines.
While at Y&R, Leo was the SVP, Director of Print Media and the Director of New Electronic Media, and served as Chairman of the AAAA Magazine Committee. Leo also served as a member of the Board of Directors for Solbright Inc. from 1997-2001. He is a graduate of Villanova University.
