As an Emmy-nominated television executive, Timothy Kuryak has developed, produced and overseen thousands of hours of programming for both broadcast and cable networks here in the United States and abroad.
Currently, Timothy serves as the SVP of Production & Development for UPtv, where he oversees all unscripted development and current programming, including Bringing Up Bates, Expectingand Our Wedding Story.
Prior to joining UPtv, Timothy served as SVP of Development for LionTV (an All3Media Company). Before that, he was Vice President of Production and Development at TLC, where he oversaw over 25 series a year, including Who Do You Think You Are? (Emmy nomination), Little People, Big World, What Not to Wear, Say Yes to the Dress (the network’s longest running series), My 600-lb Life, My Big Fat American Gypsy, Welcome to Myrtle Manor, and pop culture hits, Virgin Diaries and Extreme Cougar Wives. Timothy was part of the original start up teams instrumental in the launches of OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network, Planet Green and ReelzChannel.
In the international television marketplace as Vice President of Production for FOX World, he oversaw 40 different productions around the world, including such hits as Beauty & the Geek, Joe Millionaire, The Simple Life and The Ex Wives Club, in territories from the UK to Vietnam.
Timothy is a graduate of Brown University and a member of the Producers' Guild of America and the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
