Greg Kahn launched GK Digital Ventures to bridge the gap between media and technology innovators and investors by driving top-line growth through business acceleration, partnerships and high-impact events. His practice spans virtual and augmented reality, web3 technology, artificial intelligence, advertising technology, new data models, home automation, connected/electric vehicles, smart cities, digital retail and emerging content models.
An award-winning executive in technology, media and advertising, Greg is also founder and CEO of the Emerging Tech Exchange (formerly IoT Consortium), which since 2016 has been serving dozens of companies within the emerging technology space. The renowned roster of members has included General Motors, Avis, Verizon, Comcast, T-Mobile, Mastercard, Disney, Cox, Procter & Gamble, Nestle, Warner Media, LG Electronics, Bank of America, Discover, Liberty Mutual and over 100 startups. Greg is also an accredited investor.
Greg has over 25 years of experience in the media and tech industries, having worked at well-established content and advertising technology companies such as Meredith Corporation, Publicis Groupe, Omnicom and Viacom. A recipient of Advertising Age’s Media Maven and Mediaweek’s All-Star awards and CEO World’s Business Role Model of the Year, Greg is a regular keynote speaker and moderator at numerous industry events including the Consumer Electronics Show, Mobile World Congress, South by Southwest (SXSW) and VidCon. He’s also been featured in the Wall Street Journal, NBC News, Fox News, CNN, Forbes, Business Insider, AdAge, Adweek, VentureBeat and many other global publications.
Passionate about creating a world of ethical connections, both human and through technology, Greg is a founding member of the Gun Safety Alliance as well as a board member of the International Radio & Television Society and tech leader of the Ad Council. He’s also an advisory board member of the Guggenheim Technology & Innovation Council and an executive committee member of the UJA Federation of New York’s Entertainment, Media & Communications Division.
Greg earned his MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management, and his bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He lives in Montclair, New Jersey, with his wife and two children.
