Ed is the Chief Executive Officer for the NY Interconnect, LLC (NYI), which became a joint venture in April 2018 between Altice USA, Charter Communications and Comcast. NYI unifies TV ad opportunities across all providers—in addition to major affiliates including FIOS, DirectTV and Dish—in the New York DMA.
NYI offers marketers an audience-based platform with linear, addressable, IP and connected video opportunities. As CEO, Ed is responsible for all elements of the organization including Sales, Operations, Marketing, Research and Financial Reporting.
Prior to becoming CEO of NYI, Ed served as President of Altice Media Sales, Altice USA from June 2016 through March 2018. In this role he was responsible for all Sales and Operations for the New York Interconnect (prior to the launch of the new NYI), Altice Local Ad Sales, and News 12.
Prior to Altice’s acquisition of Cablevision, Ed was Chief Operating Officer for Cablevision Media Sales, in charge of all aspects of the advertising sales operations for the N.Y. Interconnect, Cablevision Local Ad Sales, and News 12. Before moving into that position, he was the Executive Vice President and General Manager for the New York Interconnect from 2002-2013, managing all elements of the New York Interconnect’s business, including Sales, Traffic, Operations, Research and Marketing.
Ed began his career on the advertising agency side at Rosenfeld, Sirowitz, & Lawson. He then moved to Young & Rubicam as a Senior Planner, working on various accounts including New York Telephone, Thomas' English Muffins, and Gillette. In 1987, he joined Rainbow Advertising Sales Corporation (RASCO) as an Account Executive for the company’s rep firm Cable Networks Incorporated (CNI).
Ed has a B.A. in Communications from the New York Institute of Technology.
