Alison Mcconnell, Chief Marketing Officer, joined PHM in 2017, where she oversees Marketing, Communications, Events and Business Development. During her time with PHM, the company has more doubled in size and earned a reputation as the most innovative healthcare focused media company in the US.
Prior to joining PHM, Alison spent 18 years with Leo Burnett. As Chief Growth Officer, she developed marketing and growth strategies to expand capabilities in key global markets.
As part of her role for PHM, Alison oversees The PHM HealthFront, the only upfront for health that exists in the Industry. The HealthFront has grown to be the must-attend event in the healthcare world, attended by more than 500 clients, partners and luminaries in the world of health and wellness. Alison also oversees PHM’s philanthropic partnerships under the banner of #PHMlove and has helped bring to life campaigns benefitting nonprofit organizations in health-related fields including for brands such as The Trevor Project and Fuck Cancer.
A life-long proponent of wellness, Alison spent her early career at Whole Foods Market, driving meaningful growth of the brand from when they started with just a few stores through a massive expansion and IPO.
