Adam S. Gaynor is Vice President of DISH Media Sales, the advertising sales division of DISH. Adam leads the day-to-day efforts for all advertising sales, viewer measurement and operations. He additionally spearheads the company’s advanced advertising initiatives, which include addressable, interactive and programmatic platforms as well as digital sales for Sling TV, DISH’s live, over-the-top television service.
Adam joined DISH Media Sales in 2008 and has led the team in achieving significant year-over-year revenue gains through the cultivation of key national advertising and programming partner relationships. As a media sales veteran of nearly two decades, Adam gained expertise across both the traditional and digital universes including cable television, Video-On-Demand and advanced advertising.
Prior to joining DISH Media Sales, Adam served as Executive Director of Digital Media and Interactive Advertising Sales for Game Show Network, where he led the creation and subsequent sale of strategic, cross-platform marketing solutions. He began his career at CBS in the New Media division and held various advertising sales roles with increasing responsibility at TechTV and Comcast Networks.
Adam serves on the board of VMA Media, an organization dedicated to bringing together industry executives and decision-makers for essential discussions that advance the efficiency of marketing and advertising investments. He received dual bachelor’s degrees in Journalism and Psychology from Rutgers University and a master’s degree in Broadcast Journalism from Syracuse University. He resides in New Jersey with his wife and their two children.
