Author Sue Monk Kidd once said, "Stories have to be told or they die, and when they die, we can't remember who we are or why we're here." There are thousands of stories remaining in the minds of women around the world. How do we encourage the next generation to stretch and rise to new heights? When planting the seed of possibility, seeing is believing, or so goes the age old adage. The same is true of reading, listening and hearing, which is exactly why Elizabeth Kaiden and Nitza Wilon, Co-Founders of The Writers Lab, felt the time had come to raise the voices of women, particularly those over 40. The result reaches far beyond the outcomes of film, books and plays. Even more powerful is the enduring foundation of confidence, resilience and clarity their community embodies.
