Up & Comer Kayla Bower: Why She Loves Her Job at Sinclair Broadcast Group, and How She Leverages Her MFM Membership (VIDEO)
The McIntosh Scholarship, one of the awards given at MFM's Annual Conference, is named for Steve McIntosh, the former Vice President/General Manager of Belo Advertising's Customer Services unit, who died unexpectedly in April 2011. The MFM Board created this scholarship to honor Steve's many contributions to the industry and to help inspire other rising stars. Given to two individuals under 35 who are currently employed by a media provider, the two recipients of the 2024 McIntosh Scholarship are deserving, indeed.
This ”Up & Comers” video interview shines a spotlight on one of them, Kayla Bower, Senior Accounting Manager at Sinclair Broadcast Group in Birmingham, AL, who, after receiving her Master's degree in accounting, joined Sinclair Broadcast Group in 2018 and has been moving up the ranks of the finance group since then.
