Marc Pritchard is the voice and conscience of the marketing community, speaking both as Chairman of the Association of National Advertisers and Chief Brand Officer of P&G. Marla Kaplowitz, as President of the American Association of Advertising Agencies, represents the voice of advertising agency companies and the common interests of the advertising community, including media content creators and distributors and transaction intermediaries. During the industry's Advancing Diversity Week, more than 80 DEI leaders and activists agreed that the $600 billion global advertising supply chain is losing the competition for talent and must accelerate its collective efforts to both attract and retain Gen-Z, multicultural, veteran and other currently under-represented cohorts.
Marc and Marla are leading the challenge on behalf of the industry and are reaching out to speak with and positively influence these communities. Opening the media and advertising community's first Gen-Z Town Hall, held during Advancing Diversity Week, they responded to questions submitted by Gen-Z representatives and asked by Ronda Carnegie, Chief Innovation Officer of The Female Quotient. Shared below are the questions asked by Gen-Z.
Here are some of the questions asked of Marc and Marla by our Gen-Z participants. View the full video above for Marla's and Marc's responses to the questions below (and others).
