Michael Eric Dyson is one of America’s premier public intellectuals and author of seven New York Times bestsellers. He is a recipient of two NAACP Image Awards and the 2020 Langston Hughes Festival Medallion. Dyson is a Distinguished University Professor of African American and Diaspora Studies, Distinguished Professor of Ethics and Society, and NEH Centennial Professor at Vanderbilt University.
