The sun is setting later in the day, the temperature is slowly starting to rise, and Major League players are wrapping up at spring training and going back to their home cities, which can only mean one thing: MLB season is here. Opening Day is this week and it’s been a long time coming for the New York Yankees, who flamed out of last year’s postseason by getting swept by their newfound rivals, the Houston Astros. Andy Myers, life-long Yankees fan and son of MediaVillage founder Jack Myers, joins me on this edition of View from the Grandstand to discuss the moves the Bronx Bombers made during the off-season, how they can overcome the thorn in their side that is Houston and what our expectations should be going into the 2023 season.
The Yankees host the San Francisco Giants Thursday, March 30th for Opening Day at Yankee Stadium.
