One example of the Media Financial Management Association's commitment to its mantra, "From Good to Great," is its dedication to offering members a relevant and varied array of online events and networking opportunities. To help accomplish this goal, it has brought on an expert in association member engagement and management, Amy Burton.
Burton joined MFM in late September and is responsible for managing the association's Town Hall Webinars and Member Networks. Those who have participated in a Member Network Teleconference or attended a recent Town Hall Webinar have already witnessed Burton's expertise in coordinating and managing them. Working behind the scenes to line up presenters and in-person events, she brings both incredible energy and organizational skills that benefit MFM immensely.
Burton comes to the organization through an outsourcing arrangement with Associations International (AI), a full-service association management firm headquartered in Lexington, KY. As part of AI, Burton serves several of the company's clients, including the Alliance of Women in Media (AWM). Her experience working with another media industry trade group -- one that crosses over with many MFM members -- brings added value.
The best way to welcome Burton to the MFM community is to register for an upcoming Town Hall Webinar or Member Network teleconference. There is no shortage of either to choose from. Click here for more information on Member Networks or here for more information on upcoming Webinars.
Network participation provides financial professionals the opportunity to expand their own professional networks -- opening the door to business relationships that can help members share knowledge and solve shared problems. You can join as many Networks as you want, or simply participate in the teleconferences that are most important to you. Town Hall Webinars are free to MFM members, cover a wide variety of topics important to media and entertainment industry financial professionals, and provide one-hour of CPE credit.
