Kelly and Juan on the YouTube Streamy Awards -- In the Loop (VIDEO)
Our TV/Video Download correspondents Kelly Kozakevich and Juan Ayala team up for a special In the Loop report on the 11th annual YouTube Streamy Awards. This celebration of excellence in online video content took place on Saturday, December 11. YouTuber Larray (pictured at top left) and his best friend and fellow content creator Issa (top right) hosted from the double decker Streamys bus, welcoming surprise guests throughout the show.
Filipino beauty influencer and reality star Bretman Rock was honored with two Streamys, including Unscripted Series and Show of the Year for his four-part reality series with YouTube Originals, 30 Days With: Bretman Rock. (You can read Juan's review of the series here.)
Bailey Sarian also received two Streamys; one for the Beauty category and the other for her podcast Dark History, in which she takes listeners on a journey through some of the most twisted tales of history that aren't taught in school.
YouTuber, singer and Navy veteran Bella Poarch was awarded Breakout Creator for her self-titled YouTube channel and content, while Creator of the Year went to MrBeast, known for creating elaborate stunts and challenges, many inspired by popular films, TV and video games.
