In addition to her own series Hidden Potential, HGTV’s Jasmine Roth this year embarked on one of the biggest challenges of her career: The mammoth task of helping to transform the iconic Brady Bunch house seen in the classic series into the fully functional Brady home, finished rooms of which are currently being revealed in stages on A Very Brady Renovation. While it’s a project the talented builder and designer was delighted to partake in, Roth did have to leave the premise of Hidden Potential at the vintage front doors, as her mission on Potential of transforming basic houses into custom dream homes with features that stand out from the crowd didn’t really align with the retro features needed to replicate the iconic Brady house as it would have been in early ‘70s. “I did get to see the house before the renovation,” Roth said during an exclusive interview with MediaVillage. “With the Brady project, I really had to start fresh. We basically kept the front of the house intact and everything past that is pretty much brand new. We saved as much as possible and repurposed a lot, but at the end of the day, to make it what it needed to be, we really had to change things around.
