Olivia Seltzer is the Founder of The Cramm, a daily digital newsletter, and the Author of Cramm This Book. The Cramm was established in 2017 by Seltzer as a specialized daily news platform for Gen Z. She embarked on this journey at the age of 13, armed with a clipboard, approaching local college students to sign up for her newsletter. Today, she is a Harvard sophomore, garnering recognition from NPR, Teen Vogue, and Forbes, and she has delivered talks at NATO Engages and the IFTF Summit.
In this interview, Sierra Addams, host of #AskGenZ, and Kate Byrne, host of WomenAdvancing.org, engage with Olivia as she shares what has kept her motivated over the past seven years, waking up at 5 a.m. to write these daily newsletters. She reflects on the meaningful work she has accomplished and underscores the importance of not merely including Gen Z in conversations but actively involving them in roles of significance.
