dentsu X announced today the appointment of Leah Meranus (pictured at top) as Chief Executive Officer of dentsu X North America -- an elevation from her most recent role as US Chief Media Officer. As North America CEO, Leah will focus on moving the award-winning media agency forward by defying industry conventions to forge more meaningful partnerships, drive greater business results, and develop the best media leaders of the future. Leah will report into Doug Rozen, CEO, dentsu Media, Americas.
Under Leah's stewardship as Chief Media Officer, dentsu X US was named the fastest growing media agency in the US and globally for the fourth year in a row in 2022, according to RECMA, and ranked fourth on the 2022 H1 COMvergence New Business Barometer in the US (and third globally). In 2022, the agency brought home key new business wins including Heineken, Santander, Insmed, JCPenney, Scenic Cruises, The Aspen Group, and more, and kicked-off 2023 by announcing the global win of McCormick just last week.

Leah has 20+ years of industry experience, partnering with some of the world's leading marketers across nearly every category. As CEO of dentsu X North America, she will oversee the agency in the US and Canada and work closely with global dentsu X leadership.
