With an increasing number of Americans staying at home during these challenging times, Crown Media Family Networks has put in place new efforts to provide feel-good entertainment for its audience and forge a sense of community and connectedness.
The company is offering new users a free 30-day trial to the company’s SVOD platform, Hallmark Movies Now. The service, which is now doubling up on Hallmark’s popular Christmas movie offerings, features hundreds of hours of feel-good Hallmark series and movies. Anyone interested in signing up for the free offer should go here.
Crown Media’s publishing division, Hallmark Publishing, which produces eBooks, audiobooks and paperbacks, is offering a free eBook version of A Country Wedding on HallmarkPublishing.com, in addition to hosting a virtual book club about the novel on Facebook. Moreover, the company will offer a $0.99 eBooksale for seven popular titles at all eBook retailers. Titles include Love by Chance, Country Hearts, The Story of Us, A Simple Wedding, Love at the Shore, Beach Wedding Weekend and Love on Location.
Finally, following an overwhelmingly positive response last weekend to Hallmark Channel’s We Need a Little Christmas holiday movie marathon, the network is reprising the stunt with another holiday marathon event. It begins Friday, March 27, and continues through Sunday, March 29. (Pictured at top: Chaley Rose and Rome Flynn in A Christmas Duet.)

(Be sure to read Steve Gidlow's interview with Just My Type star Brett Dalton.)
