It's been a great while since an Upfront event season in New York included a presentation from Scripps Networks. Before turning ownership over to Discovery Communications (now Warner Bros. Discovery), this first iteration of E.W. Scripps Co.'s TV programming unit touted its cable services, led by Home & Garden Television, Food Network, DIY TV and Cooking Channel, every year at various locations, including Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center. With a new generation of services to showcase, all available to viewers through a variety of platforms from broadcast to cable and multichannel bundles carried on smart TV sets and devices, Scripps Networks returned to the NYC presentation scene April 9, using the main auditorium of New World Stages on West 50th Street.
