Hallmark Pairs Erin Krakow and Brendan Penny in "The Wedding Cottage"

This weekend's premiere of The Wedding Cottage on Hallmark Channel is a big one for both Hearties (When Calls the Heart ) and Chessies (Chesapeake Shores ) as it teams Erin Krakow (WCTH) with Brendan Penny (CS ) for the first time. Hallmark fans aren't the only ones excited about this on-screen union. "I had really been wanting to work with Brendan," Krakow revealed during an exclusive chat with MediaVillage. "He's a total pro. He shows up prepared every single day, but he's also free and available and we were always having fun and finding scenes together. Behind the scenes, and between setups, he was so much fun. I'd go home at night and my belly would hurt from laughing so hard. He's a really, really great guy, and super fun to be with. I feel very grateful to have had such a good teammate on this project."
